Icorr’s New HQ Plans See Fruition Despite Recession
Icorr, a company engaged in corrosion and inspection, has just shifted from its earlier location in Altens at Greenwell Road to its new office in Minto Commercial Park in suite 1 in Aberdeen. The company employs around 200 staff in total and has its office in the UK as well as in Perth, Kuala Lampur, Benelux, Houston, Arlesford, and Baku.
The new workplace has almost double the amount of space as compared to the company’s previous office as it is spread over three stories and has total space of 17, 000 sq ft. It allows the company to accommodate more modern training amenities in the organization and on the outside the company has a workshop and concrete yard to help in technology advancement.
The MD of the company said that the new workshop can accommodate a work force of close to hundred and will help in providing better services to their clients. Since the new office interiors are large, the company is able to accommodate whatever amenities it considers important for its present and future growth. The company believes that the shift will improve its capacity to satisfy the requirements of its customers both in the UK and worldwide. Even the company staff has welcomed this move.
This shift shows that Icorr has not been adversely affected by the global economic meltdown as it has acquired the new office at a hefty price of £4m, which it would have never been able to do if it had been hit hard by recession.
