More and more humans are confronting their problems in this contemporary world of solutions. It does not matter if it is a phobic disorder of massive crowds or a sleep disorder, scientists are always coming up with revolutionary ways to fix it. Getting quite a bit of their attention is anxiety and depressive disorder. When I consider depression, I think of a person who has of late lost a loved one or someone who is afflicted in such a way that keeps them from living a normal life. This is not necessarily correct. We are surrounded by people that are pummeled by the burden of anxiety and depression for other reasons. We normally do not know the reasons. The food we consume could easily be a reason. Peculiarly, contentment with life is elusive to most people.
We need to some degree to pay attention to teenagers’ plight. Anxiety and depressive disorder seems to be striking them more than others these days. Granted, being a teenager is awkward in some areas, and incredibly easy in others. Through many teens eyes, it appears all painful. I was a teenager myself not long ago. We certainly know much of what they are going through. Yet, I can never recall being depressed. This makes me wonder what has changed lately. Depressive Disorder should not be a part of childhood. In point of fact, anxiety attacks and depressive disorder should be much less prevalent than it is altogether.
